Area's First Certified Linen Technician

Western Kentucky Hospital Services and Regional Medical Center are proud to announce that Mr. Charles Stanley has successfully completed the requirements in obtaining the designation of Certified Linen Technician (CLT) granted by the National Association of Institutional Linen Management (NAILM). This certification process involves a self-study program that includes:

- Cost analysis
- Guidelines for establishing linen standards
- Analysis of various linen distribution systems
- Goals, implementation guidelines and procedures for linen usage
- Key components to ensure a successful linen management program

Mr. Stanley took the proctored examination in June and was presented with his certificate on July 8, 2005 by Mr. Joe Miller, Vice President and Mr. John Martin, Director of Environmental Services at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Miller commented that Regional Medical Center is always proud when employees show this kind of initiative and achievement in personal growth opportunities.
